The board of directors of Erdman Anthony promoted Stephen E. Easton to controller and treasurer, and David Thomas to senior accountant. Easton succeeds Angelo Magagnoli, who retires this month after 36 years with the firm. In his new position, Easton will direct the organization’s financial planning and accounting practices and its financial relationships with lending institutions, shareholders, and the financial community. He will also oversee and direct treasury, budgeting, audit, tax accounting, purchasing, real estate, and other financial areas. Thomas will be responsible for analyzing financial information, preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements, and ensuring appropriate accounting control procedures in his new position. He will also oversee payroll processing, billings and collections, general ledger maintenance, and accounting database management.
