LeChase Construction wins safety award

The Associated General Contractors of New York State has awarded its 2012 Safety Excellence Award to LeChase Construction Services of Rochester for its job-site safety record.

The award was presented at the association’s 26th annual statewide Construction Industry Conference Dec. 4-6 in Saratoga Springs.

Award criteria includes: an EMR rating of 1.0 or less; documented accident prevention and training programs; an enforcement and disciplinary policy for employees and subcontractors, and documented use of the policy; an incident rate below the national average as established by AGC of America; a one-year history of zero OSHA citations; a 5-year history of OSHA logs; a narrative of the company’s overall safety program; and demonstrated implementation of the company’s program in the field.

  2. Safety at the job-site is probably the top priority considerations for workers. That is a primary reason why, the law bounds the organizations that really work in confined spaces or places like that, to employ safety officials like safety manager or safety coordinator to make certain that steps are taken to maintain the employees safe at their places of work.

  3. Congratulations to LeChase Construction Services for a very great accomplishment. This is one of the best achievement a construction company can achieve. This is also one of their goal, to finish the project without having anyone being injured or any fatalities. Because the people are more important than anything else even the construction project itself. Excellent accomplishment, two thumbs up for you!
