A Rochester official is leaving City Hall for Greece Town Hall.
Paul M. Holahan will serve as finance director for the town after his appointment becomes effective Jan. 1, 2014, according to Supervisor-elect Bill Reilich.
Holahan most recently served as the commissioner of environmental services for Rochester, where he oversaw an annual budget of $80 million. He is a former commissioner of public works for the town of Irondequoit and vice president of operations for the Rochester-Genesee Regional Transportation Authority.
Holahan worked for Greece from 1978 to 1999 and in his final year served as the town’s director of finance.
