Monroe County 911 employees complete safety program

Four Monroe County 911 state certified instructors have received the designation of Registered Public-Safety Leader from the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials, International.
They are Christopher R. Martin, Charles M. Vitale, Jody L. Englert and Joseph E. DeMars. The RPL Program is a comprehensive 12-month program of intensive course work and several service projects presented by APCO International in cooperation with the American Management Association. Designed to play a vital role in their professional development series, the recipients are members of the training team that prepare and deliver training for the 200 employees of the 911 Center.
All four instructors have been accepted into the APCO Institute’s National Registry of Public-Safety Leaders, and were recognized for their achievement at the Distinguished Achiever’s Breakfast Aug. 18 during APCO’s annual conference in Washington DC.
