St. Ann’s Community makes hires, promotions

St. Ann’s Community hired Adam Cipolla, Karen A. Downey and Denise Merlino, and promoted Brad Roushey. As development associate, Cipolla works in the Foundation Department and his responsibilities include event management, prospect research, project management and social media. As the infection prevention nurse coordinator, Downey coordinates and manages an infection prevention program for St. Ann’s Community. As nurse manager for the seventh floor of St. Ann’s Home, Merlino is responsible for overseeing the nurses and certified nursing assistants who work on the floor, as well as developing a care plan for each of the residents and addressing any resident and family needs. Roushey was promoted to Information Technology Services manager. He oversees the daily functions of the ITS Department.
