The Greater Rochester Association for Women Attorneys is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
In honor of its 20 years of service to the community, the organization is working with Flower City Habitat for Humanity. GRAWA volunteers will donate their time assisting in the construction of two city homes — one is in the Susan B. Anthony neighborhood (Women Building A Legacy project) and the second is in a neighborhood off Joseph Avenue.
If you would like to be a part of this effort, consider volunteering your time and enthusiasm on any of the following days: Friday, Sept. 27; Friday, Oct. 4; Saturday, Oct. 5 or Friday, Oct. 11. Work shifts are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Habitat for Humanity requires that volunteers be over the age of 18. Volunteers need to dress appropriately for the weather and physical work. Heavy-soled shoes are required. Slots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

A picnic celebrating GRAWA’s 20th anniversary and the Habitat for Humanity effort is also being planned for late October. Stay tuned for details.
