The County of Monroe Industrial Development Agency on Tuesday approved assistance for four local economic development projects, including Temple Building LLC.
The historic Downtown site received approval for sales tax exemption as it begins the second phase of its renovation. Phase II work includes conversion of the building’s second and third floors into 10 studio/one-bedroom lofts, estimated to cost $400,000.
The first phase — a $2.1 million project — included the construction of 40 loft-style apartments and a 55-car underground parking garage.
The Temple Building is located at 14 Franklin St., Rochester.
