E.J. Del Monte Corp. hires new manager

The E. J. Del Monte Corporation announced the hiring of a new manager, Melissa Newhart, who will take on the position of sales and events manager for the Rochester Marriott and Del Monte Lodge. She will identify opportunities for events and group rooms, book business, and maintain client relationships, with special emphasis on accommodating guest preferences, efficiency and quality of service.
The corporation also announced the promotions of Kimberly Gregoire and Kristen Marché. Gregoire was named sales manager and Marché was named account manager. Gregoire will develop sales opportunities and secure business for group rooms and catering at six Fairfield Inn and Courtyard by Marriott locations in Rochester. Marché will be responsible for growing new business and maintaining existing business relationships for nine Marriott hotels in Rochester.
