Wolford to be sworn

The newest judge of the Monroe County Court will be sworn in Friday by New York State Court of Appeals Judge Eugene F. Pigott Jr.

Rochester attorney and former county prosecutor Kelly Wolford was nominated last month by Gov. David A. Paterson to fill the vacancy created by the elevation of Judge Alex Renzi to the state supreme court. Her nomination was confirmed by the state Senate last week.

Her term will expire Dec. 31, 2010.
