The Democratic and Republican candidates for New York State attorney general will debate at 10 a.m. Oct. 25 in Albany in an event sponsored by WAMC/Northeast Public Radio and the Times Union.
Democrat Eric Schneiderman and Republican Dan Donovan, will take questions from Times Union Editor Rex Smith; WAMC President and CEO Alan Chartock; and Karen DeWitt of New York State Public Radio.
Schneiderman is a state senator from Manhattan. Donovan is the Staten Island district attorney.
The hour-long debate is open to the public and will be broadcast live over WAMC. The debate also will be carried on many of the state’s public radio stations and streamed live online at WAMC.org.
