Schneiderman, Donovan to debate in AG race

ALBANY — The candidates for attorney general in New York are set for their second debate.

Democrat Eric Schneiderman and Republican Dan Donovan were scheduled to square off at 10 a.m. Monday at the studios of WAMC/Northeast Public Radio in Albany. The debate will be streamed live on WAMC.org. It’s also expected to be broadcast on public radio stations across the state and WMHT-TV will air a recording at 9 p.m.

A Siena College poll released last week showed Schneiderman, a state senator from New York City, with a 7 point lead over Donovan, the State Island district attorney.
