The Students in Free Enterprise team at Roberts Wesleyan College will host its third annual Ethics Scholarship Competition from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday on the Roberts Wesleyan campus.
The competition is to help high school students improve their skills in research, problem-solving, public speaking, presentation and teamwork skills — to better prepare them for success in school and in the workforce.
The students will be given a local and international ethics case study to present to a panel of judges who will chose a winner. It is RWC SIFE’s goal to provide the top three winning teams with a laptop computer and college scholarship money.
All students will receive some monetary scholarship and a college bound goody bag. After the competition, the students will have the opportunity to write an essay describing the experience, what they learned and how they are going to apply it towards their lives. The winner of this essay competition will receive a $1,000 dollar scholarship.
