Erie County man pleads guilty to tax fraud

George Ladori, 59, of Orchard Park, has  pleaded guilty before U.S. District Court Judge Richard J. Arcara to making false statements in tax returns.

 

Ladori faces up to three years in prison and a $100,000 fine.  

 

Assistant U.S. Attorney Edward H. White, who is handling the case, said from 2005 to 2007, the defendant filed tax returns understating his earnings from his property appraisal business, All Points Appraisal. Ladori failed to report a total of $196,444.50 in earnings, resulting in a total amount of unpaid taxes of $63,253.

 

Sentencing is scheduled for May 11.
