Christian Barroso, 22, of Nassau County, has pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Charles J. Siragusa to the possession of child pornography.
Barroso faces up to 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine or both.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Tiffany H. Barroso also admitted that the images included sexually explicit depictions of minors under 12 years of age.
The plea was the culmination of an investigation on the part of the New York State Police Computer Crimes Unit, under the direction of Capt.
