BUFFALO — A Transportation Security Administration employee is accused of helping a drug trafficker get through security at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
Federal agents arrested 43-year-old Minnetta Walker of Buffalo on Tuesday.
The alleged drug dealer also was arrested.
Both pleaded not guilty before Magistrate Judge H. Kenneth Schroeder Jr. in federal court in Buffalo. Neither had an attorney.
Chief George Gast of the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority police confirms his agency assisted federal investigators in a long-term investigation that culminated in the charges. He declined to release details.
TSA spokeswoman Anne Davis says the agency doesn’t comment on ongoing investigations.
