Lisa Fetkenhour, director of client services at Martino Flynn LLC, has been elected to serve on the Upstate New York Families for Effective Autism Treatment board of directors.
Fetkenhour began her involvement with UNYFEAT as a volunteer in 2010 — helping to create promotional materials for its annual fundraising event. She was nominated to the board of directors in 2011 based on her marketing expertise, passion for supporting programs for children, and her dedication to the cause.
Fetkenhour hopes her new board position will bring more opportunities to be creative with the programs UNYFEAT offers, including music and dance.
In addition to her knowledge of the advertising world, Fetkenhour has also received her Orff certification from the Eastman School of Music. Over the past six years, she has taught music and movement to children, and currently instructs a class for children at Midtown Athletic Club.
“I love working with my clients at the agency, but I am also passionate about working with children, and seeing the benefits that music brings to them,” said Fetkenhour who resides in Brighton with her husband and three children.
