Mayoral candidates will debate on radio

Rochester Mayoral candidates William Johnson, Thomas Richard and Alex White will participate in an hour-long Voice of the Voter debate that will air at 7 p.m. March 24 on WXXI-AM 1370/FM 91.5 HD2 and stream online at WXXI.org.

It will also air that evening at 9 p.m. on WXXI-TV/HD (DT21.1/Cable 1011 and 11). WXXI News Director Julie Philipp will moderate. Panelists will include Helene Biandudi, WXXI; Brian Sharp, Democrat & Chronicle; and Rachel Barnhart, 13WHAM-TV.

The debate is part of WXXI’s Voice of the Voter partnership with the Democrat & Chronicle, 13 WHAM TV and WDKX 103.9 FM. Committed to bringing citizens’ concerns to the forefront in political issues, Voice of the Voter is supported in part by The Community Foundation.

The mayoral election will be held March 29.
