The city’s Department of Environmental Services Equipment Services Division has completed the Sentinel World-Class Fleet Certification program with a record score of 97 percent.
Rochester’s vehicle fleet, under the leadership of Assistant Operations Director Michael Quattrone, ranked above other high-scoring fleets from around the country.
“This record-breaking certification score is just one more validation that we have a highly-talented and dedicated DES team,” said DES Commissioner Paul Holahan. “I have always known — and our customers have always known — that Rochester’s environmental services staff provides the very best public works and customer service available anywhere.”
It took five years to complete the certification process. Fleet Sentinel is an online analysis tool that features an advanced fleet management reporting system.
Sentinel will deliver an award to the city to recognize its record-breaking results.
