Area golfers and people who want to support a worthy cause can still sign up to play in this year’s local National Kidney Foundation Cadillac Golf Classic, presented for the second straight year by Faraci Lange LLP.
The tournament benefits the National Kidney Foundation Serving Upstate New York. The law firm has participated every year since its inception.
Partners Matthew F. Belanger and Brian M. Zorn have been actively involved in the NKF for several years. Belanger serves as development chair and has served as board president and vice president. Since joining the board, he has played in every NKF Serving Upstate New York golf tournament.
Zorn has worked with NKF for more than 15 years, including serving on the National Affiliate Relations Committee. He served on the local board for many years, including terms as president, vice president and on the golf committee.
The NKF Cadillac Golf Classic helps raise awareness of chronic kidney disease, which affects 26 million American adults, and the importance of early detection. The local tournament will be June 13 at Irondequoit Country Club. First-, second- and third-place teams are invited to attend the National Championship in January at the Pebble Beach Resorts (additional fees required).
People interested in participating can contact Michelle Castrogiovanni at (585) 697-0874, ext. 27.
