State Farm is paying the sales tax for the winner of a 2011 Ford Fusion hybrid from Cortese Ford.
Rochester State Farm agent Chris Leonardi gave the keys Friday to Jacquelyn Cowart, a Strong Memorial Hospital employee who had not had a car for more than 18 months. Cowart won the car as part of State Farm’s “Shotgun” campaign on its corporate Facebook page where five times a day over 10 days, a random photo of a car was posted. The first contestant to tag themselves in the photo — calling shotgun — was entered to win. There were 50 people in the drawing for the car and 440 others won $20 gift cards.
