The areas top marketing agencies were honored recently at the Rochester chapter of the American Marketing Association’s annual celebration at The Strong National Museum of Play.
Named overall Marketer of the Year is Freed Maxick & Battaglia CPAs. Other top winners are Martino-Flynn LLC, turnaround marketer of the year; The Strong, nonprofit marketer; and Crazy Dog T-Shirts, online marketer.
More than 180 business professionals took part in the annual recognition of local companies and nonprofit organizations. Other finalists recognized No Tie LLC, Retrotech, Inc., Rochester City Ballet, ITX Corporation, Home Properties, St. John Fisher College, Carestream Health, Rochester Midland Corp., Woodcliff Hotel & Spa, Heritage Classic Foundation, Greater Rochester Enterprise, RethinkingDebt and ESL Federal Credit Union.
At the event, which marked RAMA’s 60th anniversary, its Collegiate Chapter Excellence Award wsa presented to St. John Fisher College whose one-year-old marketing club has 30 members and was recognized in the AMASaves Lives video contest at the 2011 International AMA Conference in New Orleans, winning $1,000 for future chapter activities.
