Five Star Bank presented a $500 donation to the Happiness House during a recent ceremony at the bank’s Canandaigua branch.
The donation was awarded as part of the bank’s corporate charitable giving program, which primarily focuses on children and education.
Martin Birmingham, regional president, and Heidi Solimine, Canandaigua assistant vice president and branch manager, presented a check to Mary Boatfield, chief executive officer of Happiness House. Boatfield noted the donation will be used to purchase technology and equipment for the Happiness House autism pre-school children’s program.
“Five Star Bank is proud to support youth activities that help students learn and grow in the communities we serve,” said Birmingham. “Having the opportunity to help contribute to learning programs for our youth is part of what being a community bank is all about.”
