A 35-year-old Rochester man has been found guilty of killing another man during an attempted robbery last December.
Rochester media outlets report that a jury on Monday convicted Efrem Webb of second-degree manslaughter and attempted robbery for the slaying of 36-year-old Samuel Griffin.
Police say Webb shot Griffin as he was about to get into his car and drive to work early on the morning of Dec. 23.
Griffin managed to drive away but crashed into a barrier near a railroad underpass.
Web faces 25 years to life in prison when he’s sentenced Aug. 30.
