Schumer calls for JetBlue expanded service

Listen to this articleSen. Charles E. Schumer wants JetBlue to bring new and expanded service to the Greater Rochester International Airport.
He would like additional and improved services to cities like Las Vegas, Chicago, Boston and new destinations, including nonstop flights and cheaper fares for business and leisure travelers.
Schumer’s call comes after he met with JetBlue’s CEO Dave Barger, who is reviewing renewal of the contract that expires this year.
In his letter, Schumer highlights the economic benefits that such expansion would bring to JetBlue.
