BUFFALO — A former substitute teacher in western New York admits he collected child pornography and lured male students to send him explicit photos of themselves by posing as a teenage girl on Facebook.
Timothy Bek of West Seneca pleaded guilty Monday to five counts of producing child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Maura O’Donnell said more than 600 child porn images were found on the 25-year-old English teacher’s personal computer.
Bek was arrested last June about five days after the FBI arrested his older brother, Jason, in the home where they live with their parents. The 30-year-old Bek pleaded guilty in December to trying to entice a minor into a sexual encounter and receiving child pornography.
