The Bonadio Group has received a clean audit report from the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, a nonprofit corporation established by Congress to oversee the audits of public companies.
The PCAOB conducts regular, periodic inspections of hundreds of its registered firms to assess compliance with certain laws, rules and professional standards in connection with a firm’s audit work with public companies.
Recently, the PCAOB selected 31 audit firms to be inspected this year, including The Bonadio Group which was found to have no deficiencies.
“This recognition of the quality of our audit services is a reflection of our attention to detail and continued commitment to providing the best services possible to our clients,” said Tom Bonadio, CPA, CEO and managing partner.
In the PCAOB report published on Feb. 14, The Bonadio Group was the only upstate New York firm to be cleared of any audit deficiencies, according to a Bonadio release. The Bonadio Group was last inspected in June 2009 when it also received a clean report. Full reports are available at www.pcaobus.org.
