A Rochester woman accused of threatening to kill President Barack Obama is due back in court today.
Christine Wright Darrisaw, 36, of Rochester, was charged Friday. According to Assistant U.S. Attorney Craig R. Gestring, the alleged threat was made Feb. 24 during a telephone call to the White House.
Darrisaw appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Jonathan Feldman who scheduled a bail hearing for today. Darrisaw, who is being detained until the hearing, faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine if convicted.
