Governor directs flags to half-staff

Listen to this articleGov. Andrew M. Cuomo has directed that flags on state government buildings be flown at half-staff on Wednesday in honor of a New York naval officer who died on April 26.
Lt. Christopher E. Mosko, who has ties to Pittsford, died while conducting combat operations in Nawa district, Ghazni province, Afghanistan. He was assigned as a Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Platoon commander to Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force, Afghanistan. He was stationed at EOD Mobile Unit 3, San Diego, California.
