Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks on Wednesday announced the team who will join her campaign to represent Monroe County in the House of Representatives.

“I am honored to have a talented and experienced team join my campaign to show our country how much it stands to learn from our county,” she said in a release.

Brooks has tapped Noah Lebowitz to serve as campaign manager. She said Lebowitz, who has acted as Brooks’ official spokesman in his capacity as director of communications for Monroe County since 2008, brings a deep knowledge of her message of more jobs, lower taxes and controlled spending. Lebowitz has left his position with Monroe County, effective Wednesday.

Brooks named Pamela F. Baker to serve as finance director to counteract an expected barrage of special interest money in the 25th Congressional District contest, and to fund a spirited campaign to effectively communicate her platform with residents, she said. Baker possesses more than 10 cycles of campaign experience raising funds for five different elected members of Congress, including former National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Thomas Reynolds.

In addition to the strong backing of an extensive and well-organized local party structure and campaign staff, Brooks has assembled an all-star team of national-level advisors and consultants, according to the release.

She also announced the establishment of an official campaign headquarters at 1501 East Ave., which may be reached by phone at (585) 319-4460. A state-of-the art website at www.maggiebrooks.com has been launched to serve as the online hub for Brooks’ campaign.
