America Invents Act discussion

Two Atlanta attorneys will be in Rochester on Thursday to talk about “The Effect of the America Invents Act on Small Businesses.”

The lecture will be presented by J. Gibson Lanier, an associate in the Intellectual Property and Patent Group at Ballard Spahr LLP, and David Perryman, of counsel, Intellectual Property Life Sciences/Technology Patents and Transactional Finance Group, with the same firm, which has several offices across the U.S.

The one-hour program, which is open to the public, is part of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry’s Free Lecture for Inventors, Researchers and Entrepreneurs series. It will be presented at 9 a.m. in the Class of ’62 Auditorium (G-9425 and 1-2495), 601 Elmwood Ave.
