Nixon Peabody LLP was recognized with a Gold Standard Certification Award from the Women in Law Empowerment Forum, an organization dedicated to advancing the interests of women at law firms. Achieving this distinction means that a significant number of women have attained the highest leadership levels at Nixon Peabody.
The firm is one of only 50 law firms to meet WILEF’s “Gold Standard” criteria, which places particular emphasis on leadership roles achieved by women equity partners.
To meet the “Gold Standard,” Nixon Peabody demonstrated that:
• Women represent at least 10 percent of firm chairs and office managing partners.
• Women make up at least 20 percent of the firm’s primary governance committee.
• Women represent 20 percent or more of the firm’s compensation committee.
• Women represent at least 10 percent of the top half of the most highly compensated partners.
