Boehner to attend Brooks fundraiser

Listen to this articleU.S. House Speaker John Boehner will be a special guest of Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks at an Aug. 4 luncheon fundraiser.
The event includes a VIP reception at noon, followed by lunch at 12:30 p.m. at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center, 123 E. Main St.
Tickets are $150 per person or $1,500 for a table of 10. Tickets for the VIP reception and lunch are $2,500 at the patron level and $1,000, sponsor. RSVP by July 30 to (585) 319-4460 or email [email protected]
Brooks is challenging Rep. Louise Slaughter of Fairport to represent the newly re-drawn 25th Congressional District.
Contributions to Maggie Brooks for Congress are not deductible as charitable donations for federal income tax purposes.
