Storm leads to NYSBA program postponements

As a result of Hurricane Sandy and continuing travel restrictions, the New York State Bar Association has postponed a number of programs.

The quarterly meeting of the House of Delegates, the association’s governing body, was scheduled for Saturday in Albany. It has been postponed until Nov. 17. NYSBA is the process of notifying the 296 House of Delegates members.

Also the 27-member Executive Committee meeting will be held Nov. 16 rather than this Friday.

In addition, the bar association has cancelled nine Continuing Legal Education programs and is making arrangements to reschedule them in the near future. That information can also be found at www.nysba.org.
