Village Gate Square will be getting a makeover, and creating about 50 jobs in the process.
Stern Properties announced the plan for renovation, which is expected to be completed in May.
A full renovation to the 20,000-square-foot retail space and 50,000-square-foot residential and commercial space is planned, including new storefront, restaurant and office space façade.
New exhibit space will be created to display local artwork, and the second-floor atrium will become a venue for corporate events, weddings and private parties that can accommodate up to 250 guests for a sit-down meal.
Exterior work also is planned.
