Roberts Wesleyan president to step down

John A. Martin

The Roberts Wesleyan College board of trustees will begin a search for a successor after President John A. Martin announced he will end his tenure after the 2013-14 school year.

Martin made the announcement at a campuswide meeting earlier in the week. Martin also serves as leader of the Northeastern Seminary. Martin came to the college as provost in 1996 and has been serving as president since 2002.

Nearly 1,800 students are enrolled at the Christian liberal arts college in North Chili.
