The Bonadio Group will host its third annual Construction Summit West on Thursday, March 28, at the RIT Inn & Conference Center in Henrietta.
The event will provide upstate New York contractors with tools to meet the rising challenges in their industry. Kenneth Simonson, chief economist for the Associated General Contractors of America, is the keynote speaker.
Looking at national trends and providing an analysis of the upstate region, Simonson will present an economic outlook of the construction industry. He has more than 40 years of experience analyzing, advocating, and communicating about economic and tax issues.
The summit, presented by the Bonadio Group’s Construction Division and sponsors Harris Beach PLLC and Lawley Construction Solutions, brings national construction topics and discussions to a regional level — integrating training sessions on operation, risk, management and finance.
Registration begins at 7:15 a.m., followed by Simonson’s address and workshop sessions. Topics include: business accountability, claims and litigation, maximizing your bonding capacity and combating tactical weaknesses.
Summit tickets are $50 per person, with all proceeds donated to Flower City Habitat for Humanity. For more information or to register, visit www.bonadio.com/construction-summit-west or call Kristi Wigton at (585) 381-1000.
