New president, CEO at CNB

Frank H. Hamlin III

Frank H. Hamlin III is the new president and CEO of Canandaigua National Corp., succeeding George W. Hamlin IV.

The change, effective March 29, is in accordance with the company’s CEO succession plan established in September 2010. The appointment was unanimously approved by the board of directors.

Frank H. Hamlin III was named president in 2011 and has served as a member of the board of directors since 2004.

George W. Hamlin IV, who stepped down Friday as CEO will continue to chair the board of Canandaigua National Corp. as a full-time employee of the subsidiary, Canandaigua National Bank & Trust Co., as an officer and senior policy advisor.
