City officials joined Tracy and Willie Hobbs to cut the ceremonial ribbon today, signifying the grand opening of Traditions Take-Out and Catering, at 651Jefferson Ave. On hand were R. Carlos Carballada, City Neighborhood and Business Development commissioner; Lovely Warren, council president; Dana Miller, vice president; and Council member Carolee Conklin.
“Rochester’s strength and growth owes much to the entrepreneurship that small business owners like the Hobbs bring to our neighborhoods,” Carballada said. “I thank them for bringing their restaurant to this neighborhood and I look forward to watching it grow and succeed.”
Traditions’ specialty is comfort foods and Southern hospitality-style catering. Menu items include Tennessee catfish, New Orleans style red beans and Southern fried cabbage.
Traditions Take Out and Catering will be open Tuesday through Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
