Finding academic research funding

Robert Bondaryk, CEO of the Boston research company KeraFAST Inc., will be the next speaker in the University of Rochester’s entrepreneurial talks at noon Tuesday in the Class of ‘62 Auditorium at the university’s School of Medicine and Dentistry, 601 Elmwood Ave.

Bondaryk will discuss a new source of academic research funding that can be found in the many novel and unique research materials investigators have in their laboratory freezers in his talk “Find Funding in Your Freezer and Move Science Forward: The Investigator’s Annexe.” The program, which is free and open to the public, is part of the F.I.R.E. (For Inventors, Researchers, and Entrepreneurs) lecture series sponsored by the university’s offices of Technology Transfer and the Center for Entrepreneurship.
