The former Brookwood Inn in Bushnell’s Basin is officially reopening as the Hilton Garden Inn Rochester/Pittsford.
The new hotel will celebrate its grand opening from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday with indoor putt-putt golf, beverages, appetizers and entertainment. Town of Perinton officials, led by Supervisor Jim Smith, will join Hilton staff and ownership for a ribbon cutting at 4:30 p.m. Representatives of the Fairport Perinton Merchants Association, and Fairport Perinton Chamber of Commerce are also expected.
Hilton Garden Inn Rochester/Pittsford will employ 40 employees. The inn is made up of 107 rooms that include 39 double rooms, five suites and 63 king rooms. Five differently themed suites are also available. The average room rate is between $139 and $169 per night.
The hotel’s restaurant, Garden Grille and Bar, offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus and offers American pub-style fare, according to a release. The grille also features a new furnished outdoor seating area with fire pit. Room service is available.
