The U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary is scheduled to vote Thursday on the nomination of Rochester attorney Elizabeth A. Wolford for a federal judgeship.
The vote will be whether or not to send her nomination to the full Senate for a confirmation vote. Wolford is being considered for the Rochester bench of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York to fill a vacancy created in December when Judge Charles J. Siragusa was elevated to senior status.
