College president to speak at leadership breakfast

Roberts Wesleyan President John A. Martin will speak at the college’s upcoming Leadership Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Oct. 18.

Martin will present “Reflections on Leadership and Education: Past, Present and Future” in the Cultural Life Center on the Roberts campus, 2301 Westside Drive. Martin will step down as president in May.

Martin came to Roberts as provost in 1996, with experience in teaching and academic administration. He later served as executive vice president of the college and the newly-formed Northeastern Seminary, responsible for all academic matters, student life issues and financial accountability. In October 2002, he was inaugurated as the 10th president of Roberts Wesleyan and the second president of Northeastern Seminary.
