David P. Flynn, a partner with Phillips Lytle LLP of Buffalo, will give two presentations at the 2013 Chautauqua County Energy Conference & Expo.
Flynn’s presentations on alternative energy, “Hydrofracking: Understanding the facts and issues of Marcellus and Utica Shale,” will be at 3:15 p.m. Nov. 1, and 11:30 a.m. Nov. 2, at the Chautauqua Suites and Expo Center in Mayville. The event is annually sponsored by the Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency.
Flynn, who concentrates his practice in environmental law and energy, heads up the firm’s energy practice team. He is a member of the American Council On Renewable Energy’s Leadership Council, serves as a member of the National Brownfield Association’s board of directors, president of the NBA’s New York chapter and as advisory board member of Incubators for Collaborating & Leveraging Energy and Nanotechnology. He also serves on the board of directors for the Zoological Society of Buffalo.
Flynn earned his law degree, cum laude, from SUNY Buffalo Law School and his undergraduate degree from SUNY Buffalo.
