Volunteers to clean up historic cemetery

Hundreds of volunteers will gather at Mount Hope Cemetery from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday to participate in national Make a Difference Day. Members of such groups as RochesterCares and Rochester AmericCorps have committed to help clean and beautify the historic landmark.
More volunteers are welcome.
Volunteers will meet at the cemetery office at 1133 Mt. Hope Ave. and will be provided with gardening tools and gloves.
Volunteers are encouraged to register in advance to ensure enough supplies are provided. Visit www.cityofrochester.gov/mounthopeevents or call (585) 428-7999 to register.
