Dinolfo to head county clerks group

Monroe County Clerk Cheryl Dinolfo has been elected by her fellow county clerks to serve as the president of the New York State Association of County Clerks.

Dinolfo, who was first elected in 2011 to serve as third vice president, will be sworn in and lead the organization in January 2014.

In 2010 Dinolfo was named “Clerk of the Year” for her staunch advocacy on behalf of the organization and has received several special achievement awards for her efforts on behalf of her constituents and county clerks.

Dinolfo is also chair of the Finger Lakes Region of the organization, is vice chair of the budget committee and is a member of the legislative committee. She previously served as co-chair of the organization’s courts committee and the eRecording committee.
