GOP to appoint three new county legislators

The Monroe County Legislature will appoint three new faces to fill open seats.

Brian E. Marianetti, a municipal attorney and litigator and former Greece Planning Board member, will serve in Greece. He replaces former Legislator Rick Antelli, who was elected receiver of taxes in town.

Sean M. Delehanty, who served two years as a Fairport village trustee, will replace Mike Barker, who was elected Perinton town supervisor.

Their appointments will be effective today.

Lawrence A. Staub Jr., who is presently director of county parks, will replace Ciaran Hanna, who was elected to the Perinton Town Board.

His appointment is effective Jan. 30 in order to allow for a smooth transition in the parks department.
