The Ad Council of Rochester is hosting the second in a series of workshops for nonprofit professionals on Feb. 4.
The workshop, which will cover using an organization’s communication channels to effectively communicate, will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Cornell Cooperative Extension, 249 Highland Ave.
The workshop will include presentations by Todd Butler, president and CEO of Ad Council of Rochester; Robyn Federman, director of marketing and communications at Catalyst; Kathy Palikoff, CEO of CUSTOMERcity; T.C. Pellett, public relations manager at Brand Cool; and Eliza Kozlowski, director of communications and engagement at George Eastman House.
The series is designed to build organizational capacity for using advertising channels.
The third and final workshop on earned advertising, or getting favorable publicity through promotional efforts, will be on May 6.
