Monroe County Clerk Cheryl Dinolfo was sworn in Jan. 27 as president of the New York State Association of County Clerks during the group’s legislative conference.
Dinolfo, who was first elected by her fellow clerks in 2011 to serve as third vice president, will lead the organization for a one-year term. Dinolfo is the first Monroe County clerk to serve as president of NYSACC.
In 2010 Dinolfo was named “Clerk of the Year” for her advocacy on behalf of the organization and has received several special achievement awards for her efforts on behalf of her constituents and fellow county clerks.
Dinolfo has previously served as chair of the Finger Lakes region of the state association, as co-chair for its courts committee and e-recording committee, and as vice chair of its budget committee.
