Household waste collection scheduled

The county Department of Environmental Services and the towns of Penfield and Webster will hold an appointment-only, household hazardous waste collection at the Penfield Highway Garage, 1607 Jackson Road, from 7:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Appointments will be accepted until Friday. To schedule an appointment, Penfield residents can call (585) 340-8710 and Webster residents should call (585) 872-1443 or visit online to schedule an appointment. The collection is open to all Monroe County residents. Waste from businesses will not be accepted.
