ABC receives $6 million grant

A $6.5 million federal grant for Action For A Better Community, a Rochester community-based agency, has been announced by U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand.

Funding will support the Early Learning and Head Start programs which provide comprehensive child development programs for children from birth to age 5, pregnant women and families. The programs are child-focused and prepare children for school.
